With that, Phoenix slung her bag over her shoulder and stepped outside, waiting for Jericho to lock up. "I suppose we should grab anything else we need before taking off. Does that Craterside Supply have bullets and shit like that?"
She wanted to make sure they were stocked with essentials. Plenty of chems and booze they had. but those wouldn't protect them really. --- "Yeah ammo, parts, clothing, simple things like that." He took one last look over at the house to make sure he had everything he needed, all his weapons were packed and some extra clothing, just in-case. He locked the door the behind and began walking towards craterside, when the sheriff walked by.
"Jericho." Simms voiced almost echoed in off the walls the metal city, "Hope you won't be starting any trouble... and who might this be." He turns to the woman, "I'm the sheriff and the mayor, the names Simms, don't start any trouble and we should do fine." He looked Kaci up and down, trying to figure out who this woman was. --- Phoenix gave the sheriff a warm smile. "Seems Jericho here is a wonderful tour giver. He showed me the town and where to get food and supplies. He's /amazing/. My name is Kaci by the way. Nice town you have here, Sheriff. Much better than any of the crap out side of here."
She then turned to Jericho. "We better get going if we want to go see some of the areas outside here before we lose the day." Phoenix didn't want no sheriff poking into her business at all, fuck that shit. She was hoping he'd not stall them or ask any more questions. Fucking law. Pointless in the wastes, really. --- Simm was glad that the woman gave him such a good feel, "Good to see Jericho with good company, I hope you enjoy this town." He smiles back to Phoenix and began walking walking off, not bothering to look back at the two.
The ex raider looked to Phoenix, "I'm /amazing/?? At least that's fucking true." He began walking almost like he was in a hurry to get out of this town, he didn't want to say it, but he did feel some guilt seeing the people he was planning to kill, but then again, they were all people he hated with a passion. Still it was a long time since he killed someone in cold blood, he was rusty, but nothing that a bottle of whiskey and a bottle of buffout couldn't cure. --- Phoenix walked to the gates of Megaton and waited for them to open, then she left the town, giving a sigh of relief. The two passed the robot waiting outside giving that never ending speech and finally, once they were far enough off from any prying ears, Phoenix turned to her traveling companion with a grin. "Much nicer being back in the open lands. Okay, Jericho. I'll give you this moment to decide if you truly DO want to come with. The first part here will be difficult as hell. Though...." She studied him, chewing on her lower lip before finishing, "I get this feeling that doing anything to Megaton could ride on your ass for a long while. We'll get to that later. Right now I wanna get back to my boys and introduce you - they've been waiting for you by the way as we saw how ya worked that day and we've all hoped you'd come with - and then finalize the plans and head North."
