Because my sleep-deprived brain is going "WHEE!", and if I have to have weird stuff stuck in my head, then I'm taking you all with me.

The Courier finds an object in the Big MT and activates it (as you do), only to be transported to Equestria. Writer's choice of companions get hauled along for the ride. Adorable hilarity ensues.

Bonus points if they get ponified in the process.

Extra bonus points for an M!Courier/Arcade sorta thing going on, either at the UST stage or an established thing. This is in no way a deal breaker, however.

...I have seriously had the image of pony!Veronica squeeing with delight in my brain all night now. Share my pain, kmeme folk!

Easy. Veronica = Rarity (Because of the love of dresses.)

Cass = AJ (Because of the hat and the accent. I know in-game Cass doesn't have one, but I SWEAR to you, in my head she sounds just like Applejack.)

Arcade can be Fluttershy. (Picture him chasing around a bunch of frightened Elvis-impersonators instead of cute animals, and screaming "You're all going to love me!")

And uh... Boone can be Spike. Just because.

I imagine Arcade as more of a Twilight Sparkle because of his know-it-all attitude...

Also, Grandma Lily is Pinkie Pie and Rex as Gummie... Do not try to avoid Rexie's after birthday party...

I have read it, and you're right: it is good. The GRIMDARK was what spawned the sudden urge for straight-up crossover silliness, however.
