Really glad I read this - I usually steer clear of the porny fills.
Can I just say I find the way you've written Boone's voice to be... refreshing? It sounds as if you're writing him post 'I Forgot to Remember to Forget' which doesn't happen often at all on this meme. idk I just care about Boone a lot and it's nice to see him getting on with his life, and that being reflected in his voice in your writing.
I like to see Boone written as a human being, I guess, with needs (even if it is the need to strangle himself for kicks).

idk I just care about Boone a lot and it's nice to see him getting on with his life, and that being reflected in his voice in your writing.
I'm 100% with you on this. I really like Boone as a character and enjoy fishing around what he gives us in canon to find all those little discarded ribbons of who he is/was/could be underneath that huge grey weight of grief and anger. I'm just full of ~*~FEELINGS~*~ about him which I guess is why I write about him so much.
