“What is it?” Cachino asked, incredulity in every accented syllable.

“It’s a man,” the younger man said, as though he didn’t quite believe what he was seeing. “He’s got a cardboard box on his head.”

They stared onto the Casino floor, where the thing in the shiny suit was dancing for a crowd of bewildered onlookers. “But what is he doing?” Cachino asked, unable to keep a slightly-hysterical rise out of his voice.

“Dancing, I think.” They were silent for a while, watching the man dance to music only he could hear.

“How long has this been happening?”

“A long time, sir. Er’ry day, actually.”

Cachino was unable to keep the despair out of his voice. “This is worse than I thought.”

This needs more love and respect. I AM HERE TO GIVE YOU THAT LOVE AND RESPECT <3 I've honestly never laughed so hard at something so short on FKM. You have literally packed so much awesomeness into each word, that if this was a full length post (or chaptered fill) my face would first become numb from smiling, then possibly explode from delight.
