M!Courier has completely, utterly fucked up the Mojave. His companions are dead/enslaved/what-have-you. The Tunnelers have escaped into the Mojave. Vegas has been nuked. Yes Man has turned on him. Or something similar.

The point is that the courier only now realizes that he really ought to have been paying more attention to everyone/thing around him and would really like to atone for it all.

So the Big Empty's final project obliges him by chucking him back in time to about eighteen months before he originally was shot in the head.

Courier's gender? Either, despite the constant use of the male pronoun. Pairings? Any. Last Companion Standing? Any. Order of/range of screwups? Any. Starting point? Run with it. Is there a risk of a paradox? Up to you.

I'd just like to see a courier who made some really bad decisions and has a second chance to do it right.

In which the Female Courier makes advances towards Vulpes but she scares the living hell out of him, and everyone else. Maybe she's a cannibal, or she just has a terrifying presence.

Having read A LOT of New Vegas stories on this meme, I have certainly had my favorites in the Courier department. However, I'm always left wondering what that Courier's story is. Their story BEFORE getting shot in the head, before they knew about Boone or Veronica or Cass or whatever! Before they were the big shot of the Mojave.

This is like, the most open prompt ever. All I want is YOUR Courier's story before their life in New Vegas took a turn for the crazy. Were they a farm kid? A city kid? An NCR deserter? A Legion deserter? Any and all stories are welcome, lets just make this a giant Courier's life story thread!

I'd love to see some awkward Lone Wanderer and Butch having their first time together.
Bonus if Butch refuses to take off his jacket or let her touch his hair.

So, everyone's favorite perk. Makes any compatible male swoon at the courier, give up information, flirt and fawn with wanton abandon. But how about a not-so-suave, awkward MCourier? He giggles and twirls his hair on his finger around Dr Richards, completely fails at charming anyone, has a malfunctioning gaydar, tries to recruit Arcade by flattering him but is so horrible at it he actually gets the "low int" option, and is a clumsy fuck around the doctor until they get used to each other. In other words - the hero of the Mojave has all the swag of a bloatfly. Bonus points for Veronica as his reluctant confidante.

It's New Years and the Strip is going to celebrate in style. Maybe the war at Hoover Dam is won (by NCR or Courier for independent Vegas) and people can finally let themselves relax and look forward to the future.

F!Courier, meanwhile, has feelings for Boone but it's never seemed like the right time to tell him and she's not sure if he feels the same. Would like for her to work up the courage and tell him. Maybe it leads to one glorious night between them. I don't mind it it ends bittersweetly with Boone leaving for California to rejoin the NCR after, but I certainly wouldn't mind an upbeat ending with him deciding to stick around.

Bonus points for the Courier wearing Vera's dress (from the Dead Money DLC)!

When F!Courier throws a slumber party at the Lucky 38, Caesar orders Vulpes to go undercover as a girl to find out information. This means wigs, pretty nightgowns, and getting his nails done by Veronica.

Violet steals/saves Betsy from Cook-Cook and the corporal feels oddly grateful. She did mention feeling sorry for those junkie girls every so often.

Dub-con at the most would be preferable, if not completely consensual.

You know how sometimes a person will suffer massive brain trauma and then develop extraordinary talents in some specific activity after they recover? Maybe getting some of his brains blown out was sufficient and Courier slowly starts realizing that he's sudden incredibly amazing at engineering, scientific analysis, speaking, or even something as trivial as art I don't know. It's just been bouncing around in my head for a while.

No romantic stuff is required but I wouldn't object to some M!Courier/Arcade.

The idea of F!Joshua Graham is ridiculously intriguing to me. I've got an idea or two of my own, but I'd love to see what directions other people would take this in.

One thing: I'd prefer it if the rest of the world remained similar to how it is in-game. That means I want to see the Legion as similar as possible to how it is now, except that Joshua was a woman.

I know it's a tall order, possibly impossible, but the quality of the writing here is so consistently wonderful, that I feel like if this happens, it'll happen here.
