(Anonymous) 2011-11-03 06:55 am (UTC)(link)
Basically I want F!Courier to be the biggest heart breaker of the wastes.

(Bonus points if it's Vulpes who has his poor little heart shattered)

Good/Neutral Karma F!Courier/Arcade: one-sided, hurt/comfort

(Anonymous) 2011-11-05 11:19 pm (UTC)(link)
F!Courier is left seriously fucked up by that bullet to the head. As a result, she finds herself attracted to men that are grossly inappropriate for her for whatever reason. An elderly doctor, a basket-case sniper, a fanatic in a dog helmet... Take your pick, NV has any number of messed up men in it.

Arcade intervenes when he catches her coming onto one one of these men. It's obvious to everyone else that he's just taking pity on the poor girl, but she falls madly in love with him.

I want to see Arcade let her down as gently as he can. Bonus internets if she cries and Arcade tries to make her feel better and fails.

(I'm a terrible person.)

Kmemers, please never stop being amazing. Over this week you collectively produced eighteen completed fills and twenty started/updated fills, proving that you all kick ass and take names. We were expecting this to be a quiet fill-a-thon with so many of you doing NaNoWriMo, but trust me when I say being wrong has never felt so right!

P.S. If you really love something posted during Fill-A-Thon, why not share the love by recommending it (http://falloutkinkmeme.livejournal.com/3383.html) or creating a fanmix (http://falloutkinkmeme.livejournal.com/787.html?thread=7147283#t7147283)?

    Courier meets the Lone Wanderer

    (Anonymous) 2011-11-08 12:44 pm (UTC)(link)
I keep thinking... what if the Lone Wanderer ventures with his/her crew (Charon, Fawkes, Butch, Jericho, Clover, Dogmeat, Sergeant RL-3, and Star Paladin Cross), to the Mojave Wasteland and meets the Courier's crew (Boone, Veronica, Arcade, Cass, Raul, Lily, ED-E, and Rex)?

Would it be awkward? Would they have an epic battle of badasses on badasses? Would they makeout? Would it be a big orgy? Would the separate crews start to notice how much in common the two tough ass leaders have in common?

Genders don't really matter to me. Really, over all, I'm just curious on what YOUR take is!

Re: Courier meets the Lone Wanderer

    (Anonymous) 2011-11-08 11:10 pm (UTC)(link)
I think this prompt officially broke my brain. I keep seeing Boone and Charon glaring each other down while the LW/Courier compare battle scars. <3 This is going to be in my head for the rest of possibly ever. Butch and Jericho and Cass snarking in the background (foreground). Dogmeat and Rex play fighting. Veronica and Paladin Cross comparing Brotherhood notes. And then theirs Fawkes and Lily. Dear sweet lord, I need this in my life.

I would love to fill it but there's just too much awesome potential here for my meager skills.

    Vulpes/fCourier, fur fetish

    (Anonymous) 2011-11-08 01:15 pm (UTC)(link)
Vulpes hasn't realized that a lady wearing fur was a massive turn-on until he saw f!Courier wearing some. Is it how it looks? Is it the texture? That's up to anon.

Let's put some kink in here ;)

(note: This is *not* furries. Think leather or latex fetish.)

    Insane, pro-legion F!Courier

    (Anonymous) 2011-11-08 01:35 pm (UTC)(link)
What if there was a F!Courier who had a HUGE boner for Caesar (Lols, but no really, lets be serious) and was absolutely obsessed and crazy in love with him and his Legion. And blah blah blah, after she sides with Caesar and takes the dam, Caesar and the rest of the Legion begin to notice how sadistically violent, maniacal, and utterly crazy she is with the NCR prisoners of war, slaves, etc. And when I say crazy, I'm talkin' cray-zay.

But! They all either fear her or worship her for it, and she becomes some raging, sadistic war queen.

Think of... Mallory Knox from Natural Born Killers (3:27- 5:58 for crazy Juliette Lewis at her best): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=whfHxiYtyy0
And in terms of devotion, think of Bellatrix Lestrange's love and adoration for Voldemort (nerdy Harry potter reference, hurr).

Anyway, I know this is super specific, but I'm just venting my ideas, A!A can make it whatever they want of course. The only thing I really hope you keep is the F!Courier part. Other then that, totally go to town on dat shit!

    Vulpes/F!Courier - Quid Pro Quo

    (Anonymous) 2011-11-08 09:14 pm (UTC)(link)
After winning the second battle of Hoover Dam, Caesar awards the courier, a master of disguises, sneaking, and deception, by making her the new head of the Frumentarii.

Outraged, Vulpes confronts her and demands that she gives him his job back. She agrees, but only on one condition, that he gives her the most amazing, toe-curling, mind-blowing sex she's ever had.

    Any!Courier & Joshua Graham - Reunion

    (Anonymous) 2011-11-08 09:38 pm (UTC)(link)
The Courier is an escaped Legion slave (timelines and Lonesome Road notwithstanding) and was, once upon a time, the property of the Malpais Legate when he was still Caesar's right hand. Years later, their paths cross in Zion.

What happens? Closure? Righteous fury? Daniel treading on eggshells and giving himself an ulcer as he waits for the explosions to start? I am leaving it completely open, prospective writer. Porn or plot (or both) in whatever proportions you desire. My only preference is that there be no whitewashing of history, wherein Joshua turns out to have been a secret subversive and all round nice guy.

If anon wants to include a flashback to the good old days that involves Ulysses as well...who am I to argue?

And now that they're out there I wanna know what they're up to. Did Amata move to Rivet City and start working at Gary's Galley? Are Freddie and his family the newest members of the Republic of Dave? Maybe the Macks tried to camp out in Old Olney only to be ripped limb from limb by deathclaws. Who knows?

Cracky, serious, whateves. Just go with it anons.

So, uh, this should be pretty close to what the OP wanted. It'd be pretty awesome if they ended up being around still.

    Characters: Raul Tejada, F!Courier
    Relationship: Het
Tags: ghoul, denial, chaps (are chaps a kink? they are to me)
Summary: Reunited with the Courier long after winning Hoover Dam, Raul reflects on the time he spent with her.

The Ghost Vaquero, Raul Tejada, sat under an orange evening sky in good company. Him and his companion had come across a fireplace with a spit in their travels and decided not to let the fortune go to waste. In short time Raul had brought back a dead gecko and the Messiah of the Wastes herself was poking at the fire. In her leather armor and with her plasma rifle strapped to her back, she looked like any other adventurer or mercenary wandering the Mojave. She decided she'd be the one to cook that night and he had poked fun at the fact that she was still stuck in the habit of trying to run the show at every opportunity despite the fact that she was following him this time around. She hadn't missed a beat, pointing out that it was generally a good idea to be nice to the person handling your food. His words had been empty of course. He could tell it was difficult for her to relinquish the control, but they'd been trekking the desert and taking jobs of his volition for the past couple months without much head butting. He wasn't quick to dis-involve her anyway, Raul respected her opinions. He respected her.

She gave him a seared gecko steak, still bloody in the center. It took a lot less time to cook than her charred morsel, but she had started hers first so they could eat their hot meal together. The two tearing into their steaks wasn't the most refined sight to see, especially when blood trickled down Raul's chin, dripping into the dirt. She gave him a look.

She had given him a very similar look on the third day he had known her, when he had cooked himself a very similar steak. He had put up with it for a minute or two, but the stare was making it hard to swallow.

"I like my meat to put up a fight on the way down, boss," he had told her.

She had laughed. Back then he could tell she'd been uncertain of him. His sarcasm intimidated her to an extent, but he had gotten her to open up a little after that line. It helped that it wasn't directed at something she said or did, sounded more like a joke and less like passive aggression with a tinge of humor. Back then she was sensitive. Her sensitivity was why he had first gotten in the habit of calling her "Boss", another joke. Over time he watched her grow into the title, and then past it.

She was just Lynn back then, no fancy title, not even a surname. She was Lynn now, but the name held a different weight to it than it did before. She tossed him a rag and they ate in comfortable silence. Mostly comfortable. After they finished, Raul popped two beers for them to chat over while the sun slowly disappeared over the mountains. Only, there wasn't as much talking as usual. She was having trouble meeting his eyes, he noticed, choosing instead to watch the sky after a short while. He was having trouble keeping himself from staring at her.

Years ago, when Lynn was barely a woman carving her way through the Mojave, she harbored a misguided crush on Raul. It had taken him a while to pick up on it. The old ghoul found the idea difficult to believe. There were always different explanations to her words and actions, and ones that didn't were easy enough to ignore. She was pretty much a kid in his eyes, someone naive who needed protection. He wasn't always certain on his ability to provide it, having been through so much in his long years, but he had grown a fondness for her quicker than he had liked. He'd never admit it to her, but it kept him around. He had seen his Rafaela in the greenhorn, in the way she acted, but he never admitted that to her either. She wasn't as closed off as he, and when she gained the courage she told him about her feelings. She may have told him exactly when she began to develop them, but that also may have been when she clumsily straddled him. What she did and said were shocking to him, and he hadn't realized at the time that he had reacted too harshly.

    Protagonist!Benny + Companions

    (Anonymous) 2011-11-09 06:24 am (UTC)(link)
Benny never stopped being House's loyal protege. In this world, there were never any grand plans to usurp control, nor was Yes Man ever constructed. Instead, faithful Benny waits at the gates of New Vegas as, one-by-one, the Mojave couriers arrive to drop off their packages for Mr. House. However, the last courier never arrives...

Now it's up to Benny to hunt down Courier Six and the missing platinum chip. I want to see this follow the main storyline as much as possible, just with the twist that it's Benny tracking the Courier through each town and not vice versa. I want, for whatever reason, Benny to pick up Companions along the way. I want to see him suffer through sidequests. Mainly I just want to see Benny as the new protagonist of New Vegas!

    The Way We Swing (1/?)

    (Anonymous) 2011-12-05 10:09 pm (UTC)(link)
excuse me preemptively for any character/slang fail on my part, but this prompt intrigued me and... well, here i am.

    ---

It was boring as hell, just waiting out here for all these Couriers to swing themselves on by to drop off their packages, but House needed the goods and good ol' Benny was never one to disappoint, not with everything the Big Man had done for him and the Chairmen. Vegas was a happening place and they were all lucky that House had put them at the top of the haps. But the desert dust was getting on his suit, and he was getting sick of giving those Kings punks standing at the gate the verbal runaround. Sure they was big in Freeside, but Freeside was small time, and if they didn't back off Benny was gonna show 'em what happened when you messed with a Chairman.

But the Couriers came, all at their own pace which was far too slow for Benny, dropping off their packages with him and taking their leave back to wherever they'd come from to get their due. All the useless trinkets first, like the fuzzy dice and the chess piece, and it just made him more eager to get a look at this Platinum Chip the Big Man was so eager to get his hands on.

Except Courier Six never arrived. Now Benny was never one to get antsy, but the sun did funny things to you and his mind was racing, trigger finger itching. What if this fink had up and skipped town, sold off the Chip to some prospector for the worth of the plat it was made out of, never realizing just what it was meant for? What if they'd been killed and some dumb Raider had nicked themselves a shiny little trophy? None of these were good outcomes, and House was gonna blow his top when he heard the news. But the Big Man had to know, and Benny wasn't gonna keep him in the dark.

It was a long while before he got the message back from one of the Securitrons. House promised that the day where Benny could step foot in the Lucky 38 and they could speak face to face was coming, but it wasn't now, and as much as the thought burned sometimes Benny knew it was precaution. His voice was cold, clipped, concise as the machine rattled out Benny's instructions in House's voice:

So Benny left Swank the run of the Tops - there was no cat he trusted more in the Chairmen to keep the place jumping while he was away. While the Strip thrived Benny prepared, gathering supplies, guns, whiskey for the road. Maybe it wouldn't be a long one, but with how long the Mojave ran, there was no one he was foolin' with that kind of hope, least of all himself. It would be a while before he saw Vegas yet, but for the city House loved, the city he loved? He'd trek to the ends of the earth to find this scumbag and give him the two to the head that he deserved. It was dark by the time he was done, but he had to get up and moving before the trail went cold.

With a pack on his back and lady Maria at his hip, Benny slipped out of Vegas's lights and into the darkness of the Mojave beyond.

    Ulysses/Courier- After the end

    (Anonymous) 2011-11-10 10:16 am (UTC)(link)
So I am the only one who wonders if Ulysses just stays at Canyon Wreckage, or if maybe the Courier tries to get him to leave?

I don't mind if this is fluff, hurt and comfort or whatever, I just would like to see how that interaction would go. Either gender Courier is fine but I would like it to be a good or neutral karma one.

    Weary Hearts [1/2]

    (Anonymous) 2012-06-04 05:39 am (UTC)(link)
The wind was usually as quiet as the monsters that lurked in the Divide, but with its story told and a silent watcher on the cliff overlooking the canyon, it seemed tamer. Nothing could ever fully quiet the nuclear beast, and on occasion, one of the horrifying ticks that lurked on its surface would try to come crawling out. The Mojave wasn’t ready for that; maybe it never could be. That’s why Ulysses remained, a quiet, but vigilant guardian, mind wrapped up in stories and histories. It was difficult to tell if the man even ever slept or even needed it. Maybe the winds and the radiation had changed him too much, or maybe it hadn’t and he was just a man with ghosts and shadows that came out in times of subconscious creation.

The Courier’s visits were both a reprieve and a reminder. A reprieve from the boredom, a reminder of what could have been. A reprieve from his duties, a reminder of his burden. A reprieve from guilt, and a reminder of sins. Too many reminders in this place he could never leave, never abandon, so he took whatever reprieve he could get.

Sometimes, they would never talk. The Courier would just sit there beside the guardian, watching the beast that was once a beacon of hope, a bottle of...something between them. Could be anything, depending on the Courier’s mood. Water for neutral, cola for the good, alcohol for the bad. Once or twice, the drink wasn’t shared. Ulysses would be given a cola, while the Courier forced that wretched concoction of the Cloud down. Those times, Ulysses knew that the Courier was remembering and punishing. Suffering for sins in a place where no one, not enemy or companion, could see.
Other times, they would discuss histories. History of tribes long destroyed. Of the Old World. Of the Big Empty. Of his travels, of the Courier’s. Of the Bull, of the Bear, of Vegas. The talks let Ulysses pass on more knowledge. More stories that should be have been carried by more than just a guardian of a place that only the mad were trapped in. He would pass on recipes, things that could help the Courier. Things that could, if spread further, help the broken world heal just a little.

There was this one time they had discussed something else. It was a time when the Courier had brought a cola and the Cloud drink. Ulysses expected them to remain silent, and for several long hours, they did. They stared out at the broken canyon, watching the Marked wander about as they silently drank from their bottles. Then the Courier broke the silence with a single sentence. “Come with me.” Nothing seemed to have prompted it. The words were quiet, and Ulysses almost though he had imagined it. He turned his eyes away from the whispering canyon towards the Courier. The lonesome traveller continued quietly, glazed eyes still fixed on the happenings below. “The battle for the Dam will start soon. You could fight alongside us for a new future. And if you’re worried about the Marked Men or Tunnelers getting out, we could collapse the paths to the Divide. You don’t...You don’t have to stay here.”

He tried to say no. That he needed to stay. His road was traveled. He had no reason to be there any longer. The Courier looked over to him, eyes sharp. “How can you know that? Sure, we all walk our own roads, but who knows when they’re supposed to end? Who knows when they’ve reached the end unless they’re dead?”

He tried to put it in other terms. He was done travelling the roads now. He had passed on his message, his package, his burden, to the Courier. He was tired. The Courier’s eyes softened then, and the gaze returned to the canyon. The gaze was not like the one he had remembered. Of youthful energy and determination. It was a gaze that belonged to the old, the weary. The same one that was often on his own face. “So am I.” The Courier had whispered softly, barely audible over the wind. Perhaps it wasn’t even for his ears to hear.

    Boxcars/Anyone

I felt a bit bad having to leave Boxcars in Nipton. Sure the guy isn't very nice to the player, but he does have a good reason.

So maybe Courier or someone else who happened to stumble into Nipton feels bad for him, and carries him to help?

Don't mind if it's fluff or whatever, just as long as it doesn't involve non-con or dub-con.

Summary: The courier, a big and good-natured guy, takes pity on Boxcars in Nipton and gets him to safety. Having narrowly escaped a nasty death, Boxcars realises his life could do with a little improvement.
    Title stolen from a movie.

    ================

Jake had thought the smell of burning corpses and death outside was the worst thing he had ever smelled. Opening the door to what had been the trading post proved him wrong on that, though. The stink of unwashed body, urine and blood almost made him retch.
After the moment his eyes had needed to adjust to the dim light, he spotted the man sitting doubled over on a chair at the far end of the room. He cautiously took a few steps toward him, thinking that maybe he was dead already, when he spotted the mangled, broken legs. At that precise moment, the man on the chair lifted his head and his eyes, burning with pain, thirst and hunger, came to rest on the courier.

    “Are you fucking kidding me?”
Jake had no idea what to reply. The powder ganger, on the other hand, went on, talking himself into a rage.
“First I get my legs smashed, and then in walks the powder ganger's grim fucking reaper? What the fuck have you got against us man? Jesus fucking Christ, if you want me dead just gimme 15 Med-X and I'll fucking O.D. for ya, okay? Fuck!”
Crossing his arms very slowly, Jake took a small step back. “Look, pal, it wasn’t me who smashed your legs, okay? And I’ve got nothing against you, apart from the fact that you guys try to kill me whenever you lay eyes on me. It was the people of Goodsprings, okay? They saved my sorry arse when I was about to kick the bucket, and asked me for help. So I helped. I don’t really care about you assholes one way or the other!”
“Yeah, whatever. Are you gonna put me out of my misery or do I have to starve in this stinking shithole?”

Jake stared down at the injured, crippled man and thoughtfully pursed his lips. “I don’t have that much Med-X on me, pal. In fact, I have no meds save two stimpacks. You want me to put a bullet between your eyes, or...?”
The powder ganger narrowed his eyes and his jaw worked for a few silent moments. “Or what?”, he finally asked.
“Or I could try and get you to Goodsprings. Doc Mitchell fixed me up when I had a bullet in my conk. He might be able to fix your legs.”
The powder ganger distrustfully narrowed his eyes. “Why the fuck would you do that?”
    “I don’t like killing people.”
“What kind of bullshit is that?”
“Take it or leave it.” Jake took another step back and produced a pack of smokes. Having lit the cigarette, he leaned against the doorframe, then drew his 9mm pistol that he tossed to the wounded powder ganger. Without another word he left the building again, the stench was getting a bit much.

When, after about ten minutes, he still hadn’t heard a shot, he walked past the house opposite behind which a few old cars were rusting away under the merciless Mojave sun. It needed no more than three strong kicks to break a door off a pick-up truck, and dragging that along behind him, Jake made his way back to the shop.

When he opened the door and peeked inside, the powder ganger was still staring at the gun in his hand. Upon noticing the door open he looked up, a hardly identifiable expression on his face.
“You think the doc there would fix me up? Why would he want to do that?”
“If I ask him, he might. He’s one of the good guys, you know.”
    “Same as you?”
Jake took a drag of his smoke and shrugged. “That’s what I like to think, at least.”
A few moments of heavy silence hung in the air.
“I thought I didn’t care.” The wounded man looked at the gun in his hands and shrugged. “But I guess all I am is a fucking, stinking coward. I don’t wanna die like this.”
Jake nodded and walked up to the chair, trying to ignore the smell.
    “Yeah, I know I stink. I couldn’t...”
“Shut up.” Jake, a broad-shouldered, heavy-boned man of six foot five, took one of the powder ganger’s arms and effortlessly heaved him up across his shoulders, carefully holding on to his hip to avoid touching the mangled legs. Despite his care, the wounded man hissed in pain. “Sorry, pal.”
